Policies
Appointments
Appointments are made by phone or text. I recommend scheduling an appointment in advance, as time slots tend to fill quickly. I work by appointment only.
Follow-up appointments: generally, the best way to set follow-up appointments is to speak with me as you are leaving your session, as I can go over future calendar openings with you in person, offering you the best possible date & time available.
Day of First Appointment
It is suggested you arrive 10 minutes in advance to fill out health history forms or just to relax prior to your massage. It would be greatly appreciated if you are on time. When a client is late for an appointment I will try to extend the scheduled service time if possible, but the client will be responsible for the full service fee even if the full time cannot be accommodated.
Cancellation Policy
It is understood that unexpected illness, weather, and emergencies happen and I am willing to work with my clients to accommodate them. Please note, "rescheduling" with less than 24 hours notice is considered a cancellation unless I can accommodate you the same day. Shortening an appointment time with less than 24 hours notice is considered a partial cancellation and the client will be responsible for payment of the original full amount. Last minute cancellations and "No Shows" do affect the livelihood of any therapist, so I do implement a cancellation policy. 24 hours advanced notice of cancellation is required by phone (or voicemail), and texts. Emails and social media (ex: Facebook) are not acceptable means for cancellations.
IF 24 HOURS IS NOT GIVEN, THE CLIENT WILL BE CHARGED FOR 50% OF THE SESSION'S FULL AMOUNT.
I reserve the right to review and change the policy for chronic cancellers. For example, having the full amount of session paid at time of booking and being non-refundable. These will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
Other Policies
Please mute your phone upon entering the facility. Putting your phone on vibrate is just as distracting, so please remember to either fully mute, put in airplane mode, or turn off, thank you.
No persons other than the client & therapist are to be the room where the massage is being performed. For your benefit, please make other arrangements for your children during the time you are receiving your massage. Massage for children under the age of 18 requires signed consent from the parent or legal guardian.
Payment accepted: cash, personal checks, Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover cards. Please note, a $25 fee will be charged for any checks that are returned. Fees must be paid in full prior to your next appointment.
My greatest gift is your repeat business. I also benefit from your referrals. If you choose to leave a gratuity, please feel free to give it directly to me.
The right is reserved to refuse service to anyone. This includes, but is not limited to, anyone requesting treatment or services outside of my scope of service. I will exercise this right if anyone arrives for their appointment under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs, exhibits inappropriate behavior, or does not meet the means of standard cleanliness. I reserve the right to charge for the full session, whether or not the service was rendered.
Upon entering the center, please remove your shoes. You are welcome to bring them into the massage room, or leave them in the waiting room. Although this facility is a very safe and secure environment, I cannot be responsible for lost or damage to your personal possessions. Please keep all belongings with you during your session.
